Defender Jam - 18th August, 2018

Gibsons Auto Services attendied the 2nd year of Defender Jam on August  18th, 2018.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Monachyle Mhor, Balquhidder, near Callander, Defender Jam brings together like-minded people who love Land Rovers, good food and drink and a fun day that the whole family can enjoy.

We were there with some examples of customers’ vehicles that we look after as well as various vehicles we've built or restored. We also had a small stall with some parts and accessories. We also raffled off parts to some lucky winners from our suppliers Britpart, Allmakes and Bearmach,.

The event features vehicles on show from industry, show-pieces, historic to modified and more - Defenders, Series 101s, Range Rovers, Discos, Freelanders, etc.

There were also representatives from Scotland’s top Land Rover Specialists as well as after-market parts, spare parts, modified parts, national and local companies at the event which also featured off-road track, merchandise, clothing brands, home wear, street art mural painting, greenlaning track, mini Land Rovers, plus a bar and the ‘Disco Very’ barn dance with DJs and live entertainment - not to mention excellent street food, BBQ, hog roast, Mhor Fish, Mhor Bread, fish and chips,  plus craft beer and a full bar. Needless to say, a great time was had by all!
