Gibsons Auto Services regularly host events at our premises on the Ayr Road Business Park, Cumnock.

During August 2014, for example, we hosted a display of Hotrod Classics featuring American cars of all types and ages. In June 2015, we held a Land Rover and Military Vehicle Day. In April 2016, we hosted a display of a mix between Land Rovers, general classics and motorcycles. All images of our past events can be found on our online gallery.

Our events have proved to be a huge success, offering a great family day out for car enthusiasts of all ages!

Defender Jam - 31st August, 2019

We are delighted to announce Gibsons Auto Services will be attending the next Defender Jam. It will be on Saturday 31st August 2019 at the stunning location of Kelburn Castle and Estate near Largs. The 3,500 acre site features the Kelburn Glen with its waterfalls, the secret forest, woodland paths, playbarn, plus glamping, camping and yurts. Nearly 2000 acres is rough terrain which will be used as the events green laning course.

What is Defender Jam?  Defender Jam is a gathering that is for anyone with an interest in Land Rovers, it is a fun day out for all the family and like minded people. The event normally runs the full day where there are many stalls which vary from various Landrover specialists & the auto jumble to craft stalls. There are plenty of things to do around the area given the location. Through the day & into the night there will be live music plus entertainment till bedtime. Most of us will be camping.
