BVAC Classic at Thirlestane

Gibsons Auto Services were on the Defender Jam stand at the excellent BVAC Classic at Thirlestane Castle. We brought along a recent refurbished Defender 90 to show, alongside a fine selection of Land Rovers including music from the Compact Disco Defender.

SCOTTISH RETROS

At Gibsons we hae welcomed a few events from Scottish Retros with 70s, 80s, 90s retro classics. Including MK1, MK2 Escorts, XR2s, RS1600i, Cosworths, Rally Cars, Vauxhall Red tops, Corrados, Capris, Trabant, Reliant Robin, Lexus, Mercedes Porsche, MX5, Quattros, RS2000S. Hondas S2000s, Skyline, Supersport, MG, Maserati, CRX, Figaro, VW Transporters, BMWs, Defenders, Minis, Subarus, Renault, Toyotas, Peugeot, plus RS, XR, GSI, GTE, GTI, SRi, VXR, and many more.

GIBSONS AUTO SERVICES AT

Gibsons Auto Services are proud to have been involved in Defender Jam since the first one in 2017. This is not your usual Land Rover show, but a fun day out for all the family. It has show cars, stalls, parts, merchandise, kids entertainment, country fair, green laning, good food, drink plus music from the Compact Disco Defender

There is lots for kids and big kids to do, this is a lot of fun.

We have held American Car days at Gibsons with Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Sleds, Oldsmobiles, Station Wagons, Pick Ups, Chevvys, Fords, etc.

ARMY AND MILITARY VEHICLES

We have had Military and Army days at Gibsons with Army, Navy, RAF vehicles from WMIK, Defenders, Gipsys, Wolfs, and American Army vehicles.

The Jolly Roger Motorcycle Run

The Jolly Roger Motorcycle run raised money for C.A.L.M. (Campaign Against Living Miserably) the Male Suicide Prevention charity. They rode from Gibsons before cruising to the Rock Hard Diner and Aces in Kilmarnock.
